Sukuna is a walking disaster. Also lets not forget he was not in his peak too, only 15 fingers.

Legend says sukuna vs something created the bermuda triangle.

YESSS he be cookin!!! For real though these finer details really matter! Thank you for pointing them out. I wasn't 100% on how the ritual worked and this filled it in! This makes the anime mean a lot more to us!

Yes, Makora/Mahoraga (different versions of the name) is a shikigami that will stay in our world until it kills its target/summoner. By tying Pony-tail dude into the summoning ritual, it meant that both of them had to die before Makora could go back into the shadows. Megumi was basically "on hold" or frozen in time until Pony-tail dude died. Sukuna did a quick fix that gave him enough time after the fight was over to take Megumi to the real healer, Shoko (the morgue lady, used to be close with Geto/Gojo) Sukuna only had control of the body until Itadori's body dealt with having eaten so many fingers at one time - he was overwhelmed. So, by the end of the fight, Itadori has adapted enough to take back control. I think Sukuna was mostly testing Makora until he could figure out its technique and figure out a way to kill it. So he was taking some blows, but not any damage, as he worked out its power level and abilities. Sukuna probably has more tricks up his sleeve that we haven't seen yet - he was only using what was necessary here. His basic techniques are slicing and dicing, but he also seems able to copy others - so he used Jogo's Fire Bomb thing as the finishing blow here. Imagine Sukuna taking Megumi's technique and summoning Makora under his control... I don't think a battle between Sukuna and Gojo would be down to who's the strongest. Some techniques work better against others and power level isn't as relevant - heck, even those girls with the camera survived a blast from Jogo. So we don't really know who would win in a Sukuna vs Gojo battle - whoever is the smartest maybe, or who is better at finessing their technique vs the other person's. Everyone was either pissed off or laughing their asses off at Sukuna's domain being translated as "Malevolent Kitchen". He does some serious cooking, but it should be "Malevolent Shrine".

One thing weird but not really all that important is the subs have changed his abilities names, the actual names of his abilities are "Dismantle" and "Cleave" Which in this got changed to Dissect and Fillet, his domain is called "Malevolent Shrine" and not kitchen. It doesn't really impact the story but figured I'd point that out and I hope the subs correct this in future seasons. Oh yeah and I guess "makora" should be Mahoraga because thats how it is in the manga
