IMPORTANT PATREON UPDATE

I will be renewing the Patreon membership plans. To give you an idea of what, how and why, I will elaborate below. I am sharing this with you guys FIRST, this information will not go public for a bit, especially because I am a finnicky fuck and I might run into issues with what I've come up with so far. I know I've been bombarding you guys with a lot of text lately and I am sorry about that! I also wish to avoid getting a lot of questions that can easily be answered here, beforehand. SO let's go!

Q: Why a new plan?

A: I've been pondering on how to make better use of Patreon. Dividing my time in order to make sure that I am giving my best to patrons, but also going back to creating stuff that fulfills me the most, hoping to bring you joy as I do so! The current plan has been a bit outdated for a while. It evolved over time, but it became more of a fixing and patching up, rather than giving proper thought to where I want to go. The new plan will keep some of the old setup, and introduces some new benefits that I will dedicate more time to once it's set into place.

Q:What is Gizmo Blues?

A: Gizmo Blues is a world me and my partner have been creating in the past years, mainly for fun, as we both enjoy text-based-roleplaying in our free time. You might have seen some of the characters floating around on my server! The story is heavily inspired by Steampunk, and has magical undertones. We've been roleplaying it for a while now, and it was never our intention to take it public, or create anything outside of our roleplay. But as an artist you cannot help yourself, of course, to give these characters and their world a visual representation. So far I have no plans of turning this into a comic or something. But you can expect character designs, scenes, and worldbuilding.  

Q:What will happen to the request streams?

A: The request streams will remain for now. The main change is that the Adventurer and Star Party Member Tiers will merge, keeping the separate streams for SFW and NSFW. Other than that the only change will be that the rules for both streams will be equalized, so 2 character full-body sketches will be the new limit for both. This new Tier will remain closed.

Q: I'm an Adventurer, can I join the Star Party Member Tier so I can keep my sketch-request benefit?

A: All Adventurers that would like to switch over to the Star Party Member Tier are welcome to send me a message. I will arrange a slot for you to take in the new Tier, accordingly.

Q:I don't like these changes!

A: With time comes change, and I always try to please as many as I can. Sadly it doesn't always work out that way. If you wish to no longer support me through Patreon, that is fair! We all must choose what we spend our hard-earned money on, and in the case of something like art (which is a luxury), you should spend it on something/someone that brings you joy. This plan is intended to help me find more time to work on my passion-projects, increasing my overall happiness doing art, but that might mean it is not your cup of tea anymore. I will appreciate you, either way

Q: What will happen to the old Tiers?

A: Star Party member will become Konjurer, Adventurer will become Akolyte, and the tip jar will become Altruist, and I will add another Tier to become Kultist.

Q: When will the new memberships be available?

April 1st. Giving us time to do one more Request stream cycle before switching over to the new plans.
