2024-11-21 17:45:31 +0000 UTCThe kingdom of Falmuth unknowingly bringing Rimuru his fricking meal is something that I absolutely love. As another commenter said, there's a difference between a Demon Lord and a True Demon Lord. Demon Lords are individuals that hold immense power and have the capacity to evolve into True Demon Lords, should they meet the requirements (that is, having the seed AND killing at least 10,000 humans). True Demon Lords, as in the ones who have awakened, are quite rare (I believe only 3, Milim being one but I won't spoil the other 2), and they hold much more power than the others. If you take Milim as an example, and given that, by the time she met Rimuru, he had alreadu acquired the seed, she is 10 times stronger than him, so probably also 10 times stronger than "normal" Demon Lords. Given that Rimuru is confident in his ability to wipe out an entire army of 20,000 soldiers by himself, you can see how broken True Demon Lords must be. The story is about to get really interesting, only 4 episodes left for the first cour of the season, and then there's the second cour with (in my opinion) the best OP and the best story arc. Season 3 is great, but I don't think it beats Season 2 at all.

A Demon Lord seed is a class of pretty strong monsters or Majin. The "nourishment" of 10,000 human souls is required to "awaken" as a True Demon Lord. However, both types frequently just get called Demon Lord.

Hype train pulling into the station.🙌🙌 Super glad you guys caught that it was Milim in the fairytale. I recommend going back and looking at the scene again, I have a feeling you'll recognize atleast 2 more characters in it. Lastly two minor fun facts that you might find intesting: 1. Instead of just a couple hours like the anime implys, in the LN Rimuru actually spent about 3 days over Shion's body while Great Sage searched for a way to bring back the dead. 2. I'm not sure why the English interpretation says the baby dragon was only Milim's companion, as if it were a pet. The baby dragon was actually considered a sibling. Anyhoo, awesome reaction guys! Super excited for you to get into the real meat of the season. 🩷💛🩵
