Good to know I'm not the only one who rewinds the teleportation scene whenever i see it, the visuals, the sound, and the scale of it are all 10/10.

For real that teleportation scene was epic! The look of the spell and everything! This show has so much freaking charm! Seriously thank you for being here and taking the time to write all of this lore and extra info for us. It really does add more to our enjoyment and gives us a deeper connection to everything.

I forgot a couple of things. It’s true, Rimuru agrees with you. He believes that in warfare, quality is more important that quality. But see what I said about armies above. Where did Benimaru’s ogres come from? They are evolutions from hobgoblins, among those who admired Benimaru. It might have happened during the Harvest Festival, or maybe there was some other opportunity. Apparently, the next level up from hobgoblins is ogres. Why does Ramiris call Veldora “Master”? Because he’s her teacher about the sacred texts (manga). Diablo and Shion agree on Rimuru’s greatness and will not stand for anyone insulting him.

Yeah, something people don’t do as often as they compare individuals, is compare armies in Slime. So the orcs were strong-ish monsters under the influence of Starved. Once the Orc Lord was defeated, they got weaker, and their army fell apart. They felt guilty, they lost their leader, and their reason for fighting. So, it wasn’t too hard for upgraded ogres to fight them. Notice Rimuru leaves as much as he can to his subordinates before he steps in (in every fight, actually). Then there was the human army. There were some magic users and church troops who can be assumed to have some extra strength beyond what is typical for humans, but basically Falmuth was underestimating them. Rimuru took out the main army because he wanted to make sure the souls were allocated to him, not wanting to leave it up to any chance. He succeeded by a combination of good tactics and careful planning, and the element of surprise with the spell he used. His people were able to take out the church troops by using surprise, again. This army of Clayman’s is full of majin, which are basically upper-level monsters. You can assume they are stronger than the orcs or humans. They are being super-cautious because they really don’t know how strong this army will be. And Rimuru isn’t going. Also, he wants the Beast Kingdom troops to take a major part, because it’s their country and their leader, Carrion, that they're defending, and part of their personal revenge. Rimuru always takes into account who has the most stake in the outcome, to be the ones who get to personally fight. It’s part of the way monsters think. On another topic, only human souls will work for becoming a demon lord. Clayman is hoping the souls left in Eurazania will be sufficient for his awakening, but I am not certain myself whether he knows that it has to be human souls. I don’t know what the faulty assumption is that Clayman has made that brings him to only 78% chance of achieving his awakening. In any case, it was mentioned that a number of humans do live in the outskirts of Eurazania. The teleportation scene is one of my favorites in Slime, one of Rimuru’s times to shine!

Yea you kinda really do have to binge the rest lmfao

Yes. I know exactly what you're talking about when waiting for the next episode to drop. Try being from the generation of network tv where it was entirely possible that you would be waiting for a show to come back but the rights got sold to a cable network and you NEVER saw it again. 😣 Anyhoo, loved the reaction! Can't wait for the next to drop. 🩷💛🩵 (nervously prays that I didn't just curse myself and the boys don't suddenly decide they just don't wanna finish the anime)
