But, a few first eps in S2 happened before the last scene in last ep of S1 where rimuru left the children and gve his mask to chloe.. because like LaLa said in comments, they didnt know they gonna have new season for slime so they skip a lot for ending.. so dont be confused if you see the same last season ending scene in future eps π

Funny story about all the recap episodes: they honestly didn't think they were going to get a new season so they ended season 1 the way they did. When they got greenlit they did the last OVA as a refresher since it had been awhile between. And since a lot of people skip OVAs they added the film strip recap in the season 2 opener. They decided to start the season backed up a couple of days before he leaves to set up what was about to happen. Gobta is already god tier, it wouldn't be fair to give him a panty-dropper glow up. πI Will say I always think of Bert & Ernie when I see him and Gobzo. The graduation hat, Tiss, and the blonde teacher guy wearing the glasses are actually from the OVAs! If you're curious about where they came from. Also you are correct, she's sweet as heck! About all the other people's powers you're curious about....wait for it. I promise explosions are going off you just haven't felt the shockwave yet. π©·ππ©΅
