Last Horror Anime I watched was Housing Complex C, I think. It was okay, but I went into it thinking it was going to actually be a Cthulhu Mythos anime and when it turned out it was just borrowing from Lovecraft it really soured me on the series. If you want something that’s unsettling, check out Made in the Abyss. It’s not outright horror, but is very unsettling and has definite body horror. That said, this is very impressive and I love how they achieve such a creepy atmosphere without any gore or any monster. It’s just spirals and body horror. I’m very curious to see where it goes from here.

2024-10-02 03:34:26 +0000 UTCDude, this anime is wild. There is something about this anime that reminds me of Siren - old Konami horror game. I love the animation and that it’s in black and white. It’s not really evoking fear for me but it certainly has caught my attention and I want to watch more - I want to know what the heck is happening.
