Where I've Been

Hey y'all it's Chris here. I've been wanting to get on here and explain my absence for a little while but I wasn't sure how. So bear with me for a sec and let me see what I can do.

The past few weeks have been pretty hard, a lot of things happen in life that are beyond your control and you just have to roll with the ups and downs. About 2 weeks ago my Grandmother passed away. It was a big blow to the family as she was a massive figure in a lot of our lives growing up. She had been dealing with dementia for a few years, so it had been a difficult journey overall. But she was surrounded by family when the time came and her funeral was put together beautifully. I had to take time away to grieve and spend more time with my family. But through all the memories we were able to share together I gained more insight on what my grandmother meant to me and the love she showed to everyone around her. It really inspired me to honor her memory and try to be more like she was in life. She was always cooking for everyone and sharing love and laughter the main way she knew how, with food and her big smile. She always loved having people over and cooking for them. That has become a new goal for me in life and I'm going to do everything I can to be that light for my friends and family.

With that being said, I just wanted to thank everyone of you for your continued support on our Patreon here and our Youtube channel as well. I have had a lot of time to reflect and something I really want to do is be more active in figuring out what kind of solo content I want to produce for y'all. I have a lot of ideas and some of them revolve around me getting a new place to live closer to where John is, but in the meantime I wanted to maybe try and start doing some movie reactions again or focus on some twitch streams just to get the ball rolling. I will keep y'all updated with what all I figure out.

Last but not least I really wanted to shine a spotlight on John for all the work he does here. He has been so awesome while I've been down and out, and has been there for me through it all. He's my best friend and brother, so next time you get a chance, let him know how much you appreciate his dedication to all this. I love y'all and I love being in this space with you. I will never quit trying to bring the best content possible to you guys. So with all this being said the future is bright for The Heck and I hope y'all stick around for the journey with us.

-All The Love, Chris

Had a grandmother that pretty much raised three generations of my family so I know the big hole your grandmother left in your family. Take care and heal, we'll be here when you need us.

Chris! We appreciate you and John for all that you do! I’m so sorry about your grandmother, my condolences to you and your family. I’m glad you are spending time with your family while you all take the time to grieve this loss. Finding ways to be a light in others’ lives is a great way to honor her memory.

Hate to hear about your Grandmother. Take all the time you need to grieve. We'll be here waiting and possibly harassing John. But if you Cone back and see burning effigies, remember it was your evil twin/clone keeping you away and you have now slain him. Huzzah! 😉

Been praying for everyone my man. And sorry, I'm allot better at speaking like this than in person haha. Time to yourself and family is super important during something like this, so don't make yourself feel like you should force anything, nobody can blame you for taking as much time as you need. Hoping things start looking better for ya, both emotionally and future plannings as well. Things gonna pick up, trust

It's all good man, I just got back from the hospital after my grandmother had a severe heart attack on me 2 days ago. I was really hard watching my grandma black out multiple times In my hands thinking this was it for her. While she is still alive(In critical condition) I couldn't imagine losing her. You and your family have my condolences.
