I was totally teary eyed by the end of this video. There was so much emotion in his voice and everything was just done so beautifully. It really adds to my love for animation and the amount of feeling they can put into it. All of these characters are brought to life by such incredible voice actors and animators. It's so rad

But in regards to this one: the original is still on youtube, they did change a few of the lyrics in this version compared to the original to better fit since the original was written before S1E7 Ozzie's even came out. I think it's worth checking out for sure, even if just on your own time.

They sprinkle in a metric crap ton of subtle goings-on and trust the audience to pick it up. Blitzø and his trauma, Stolas and his self discovery, the ingrained classism and bigotry. It's all handled so well that it's almost trippy that the show is a comedy. I'm excited for Chris to see the next few episodes, but I'm also reaching for my weighted blanket. 😅 🩷💛🩵

Paranoid DJ has a TON of great songs in the Hellaverse that they've put out on YouTube. A few others that I personally really like are 'Use Me Up (Angel's Order),' 'Get Hooked (Valentino's Deal),' and 'Get Hooked (Husk's Tale).' They also voice acted the 2 prequel comics for Hazbin Hotel, Dirty Healings and A Day In the Life, which focus on how Angel's recruitment to the hotel and a typical day for Alastor, respectively. They also do other fan comics, though, so just know all of them aren't put out by Viv on their site. There's a really active and amazing community of fan artists for both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss, including for music Silva Hound, Black Gryph0n, and MilkyyMelodies (among many others). This also wasn't the only fan song that Viv liked enough to bring into a show-Addict, the Angel song that was released between the pilot and season 1, was originally a Silva Hound fan song.

2024-11-05 17:05:34 +0000 UTCThis song legit made me cry when it came out. I'm an avid fan, so I was caught up on the story and fully invested by this time. If anything was going to draw you in without any backstory or context, it would be this video. I'm glad this was your intro into the Helluverse even if you didn't quite get it. I had a similar introduction into this world. The first thing that I saw that really drug me in was the music video to Poison. I had no idea what I was looking at, but it was so emotional and raw and sad that it made me want to find out what this show was, and I soon got sucked in. I'm glad you guys enjoyed this, and I can't wait to see you get into the rest of the season!
