Something that might put her into a sharper perspective for the events that are about to happen: yes, she put up the anti-magic barrier. It is exactly what it sounds like, it simply blocks magic from happening. It doesn't seal abilities. Obviously she's torn about her actions, anyone would be, but if you go back she says something really important about what would happen if she disobeyed Clayman. She stated that she's seen what would happen if Clayman unleashed his rage. It wouldn't be just her or Youm that he would kill; he'd kill the entire city. So it's the 'rock and a hard place' conundrum. Don't do something you KNOW will bring death to the entire city, or do the crappy thing and have hope that people will have a fighting chance. Also do remember she had no clue Falmouth was about to put up their barrier as well. Anyhoo, off to hide under my weighted blanket. 🛌🌪☄️ 🩷💛🩵
