I MADE IT Y'ALL!๐ I caught up to season 2 with you. Hopefully by the end of the week I'll be up to the last episode and can watch fresh along with you. This has been so much fun for me to experience this media for the first time with you! Yeah, Chris is still on point about him losing his humanity. They are certainly ramping up the symbolism and outward behavioral changes. Physical changes inescapable obviously. I gotta say, to me at least, it feels like he's being used for or being prepped for being a vessel. Just saying, current theory percolating around my head. Some of the imagery makes me wonder if his original self or humanity is actually trapped somewhere in his own mind. ๐ Ah, our oblivious gym rat baby is gathering waifus left and right without understanding, so atleast that's unchanged. Well that and some insane S rank psycho hunting our boy and poor Jinho. That should be interesting when that comes to a head. Glad we're finally addressing his sister's friend. Not shocked at all that it went to Hell the moment Jinwoo stepped through the portal. It could be that you were both right about why the portal changed, I wouldn't say the reasons had to be mutually exclusive. Watching the 'leader' immediately decide that he had no use for the weaker members and basically tell them to f off was as unsurprising as it was moronic. Real leaders use EVERY asset they have. Dismissing members without even seeing what they are capable of is proof enough that you aren't a leader. Leading your party into what you know is going to be a trap and not even making a basic plan other than 'survive', then running screaming is a death knell. Really enjoying Jinwoo thinking that a simple 'shh' will work in the long term still. Precious baby. ๐ That's my notes for this episode guys. LOVING these reactions! I'm so glad you're as excited for this season as I am, especially since you've have a much longer wait than I have. ๐ As to when you do these, I leave it up to you two. If it's feasible to react and record another day of your week that's cool. Just don't push yourselves and burn out. I can certainly wait, your health and happiness is more important that an extra couple days sooner. ๐ฉท๐๐ฉต

2025-01-07 00:02:45 +0000 UTCIn the OP and ED there does seem to be a lot of symbolism of the death of the old Jinwoo. In particular I noticed that the flowers surrounding him are white lilies. For certain types and in certain contexts they mean the transience of life (is how the internet put it). It can also mean spring, and a lot of other things, and of course it depends on culture.

2025-01-06 09:15:06 +0000 UTCHaving observed numerous series over time that had something that was S rank, it usually means something out of the ordinary, so there usually aren't many of them, but the range of S rank is anything higher than A (sometimes A+, where there are these fine divisions). It could be a little higher than A or enormously higher.

So the fact that Sung Jinwoo easily stopped that arrow and Kim Chul (the A-rank tank guy) apparently didnt even see it is supposed to imply that Sung Jinwoo is stronger than A-rank. At least that's my take.

2025-01-05 14:13:00 +0000 UTCHis ability only requires mana for resurrecting people (shadow extraction) and re-summoning (regenerating) the soldiers after they are destroyed. It costs nothing outside of that. He could have them out 24/7 without issue unless they start getting killed. The last rank is s rank however there is technically one above it called National level Hunters, basically the top 1% of s rank, but that's introduced much much later. Love the enthusiasm you guys bring with this series hope you keep enjoying it's gonna be a hype season if the rest is as good as this ep.
