When Rimuru traveled to Engrassia to find the children, there was a whole arc left out of the anime. (Despite this, quite a bit was shown in the Season 1 OP.) Rimuru first passed through Blumund, but instead of immediately stopping by to see Fuze, as he had been invited to do, he went to the local front desk, and ended up having to take the tests for various ranks. There was no one there capable of administering the A-rank test, so that's how Rimuru only became Rank B+.

2025-01-15 05:59:51 +0000 UTCI have an opinion about Rimuruโs gender. First, he thinks of himself as male. But the other clue is in the Japanese language he uses. (In fact a bunch of things in the series can be explained if you know how Japanese works regarding formal/informal and honorific/submissive language.) He uses male language and male pronouns to refer to himself. This is not a hard and fast rule, there is at least 2 women in the series we have met who use some male language. And, for Rimuru, it could just be habit. But I think it also indictates how Rimuru sees himself. But all this could be wrong since, in theory, they aren't supposed to be speaking Japanese.
