I personally don’t know what the king was talking about when he said Luminous was the guardian of the four...., or what she meant by Coleus was to be a sacrifice to the mad king. You can't assume Luminous is good or on humanity's side all the time; or she is, but her methods are suspect. Luminous didn’t want herself, the vampires, or her country to be the scapegoat for anything bad that happened here, particularly since it wasn't her plan.

The reason many of us wanted you to see the movie before the OVA's, is exactly what you said. Violet was introduced as a character in the movie, and I think the impact is greater if you see that first, even if the OVA's precede the movie chronologically. .... 4. Why was it necessary to see the OVA's at all? (A) See more about Luminous. (B) See more about Violet and demons. (C) See the girl in the box.
