I noticed in episode 6 season 1, there was a scene that showed the 2 female mage hunters and the healer from the B team talking about training with Cha. Maybe early foreshadowing? at 18:49 of your reaction, if you wanted to check it out.

They did mention in episode 1 of season 2 that after eating with his group he went of to go exercise(do his daily's) and to kill & acquire the Ice Bears Cha Hae-In covers her nose around other Hunters due to the overwhelming smell of mana coming from their bodies, with Sung Jin-Woo being an exception to this.

Her eyebrows were indeed glorious. 🥰 Hey look at that... high rank hunters actually treating an E rank with respect and concern. Miracles do happen! This group certainly is the best we've seen so far. Professional and empathetic. I like them so far. Next week should be fun since I agree that there's no way Jinwoo just sits back and lets them be decimated. Chris, I've also been having the same thought since Jinwoo's dad said that. Jinwoo is most likely atleast part of the catastrophe he is trying to prevent. I feel like it's all going to come down to if Jinwoo can hold on to his humanity. Since Jinwoo became a Player the same thought has been percolating in my mind: Killing is easy when you're detached from it. All the video game parallels just enforce it. People do and say WILD shit playing video games, because it's not real. There's no consequence, just lines of code digitized into pretty pictures. People kill legions of monsters and even humans everyday in games, and they feel high as hell doing it. It's a form of bloodlust, just in a controlled environment. Jinwoo is now experiencing video game highs in real life. Combined with the awe and respect he's suddenly being lavished with that makes for a hell of a heady cocktail. We've already seen how much more detached he's become with very few exceptions. I just feel the trick in the end is going to be whether he can reign himself in and stay present enough to not let the Godly Powers corrupt him past the point of no return. We know he's a good person, but his self-loathing and low self-esteem is definitely going make it an uphill climb. Soooooo happy you're now caught up, but also super bummed we now all have to wait week to week. 😅 🩷💛🩵 p.s. I have a request that might seem odd to you guys but hear me out: I have a friend that is an even bigger anime fan than me. I was surprised (read *shocked*) when he insisted that I go back to season 1 episodes 1 & 2 and rewatch them in English... HOLY SHIT. My friend did not lie, Aleks Le absolutely crushed it! I've now rewatched it again in dub, and am very in love with Aleks' portrayal of Jinwoo, it's mind boggling that it's even the same actor from episode 1 to now. I'm not saying rewatch the whole series, unnecessary, and I respect your choice of sub. I was thinking maybe do a special video for patreon, try the fist 2 episodes. I think you guys would really appreciate the acting. It's absolutely wild how amazing the dub was.
