haha ooh the classic power-scaling between anime questions! unfortunately the hypothetical Sebas vs Diablo fight just simply isn't fair at all. The Tensura verse far out-scales the Overlord verse (I do not want to spoil events that are to come, so I won't get specific as to why) and Diablo is a very powerful person within the Tensura verse. Even if you equalize their raw power, it is unfortunately still not even close. Diablo, being a Primordial Demon, has existed since the dawn of creation. There is simply no way Sebas could even compete with him in terms of technique, experience, battle IQ, feats or anything else.

Honestly, I could see a fight between Sebas and Diablo ending as a draw, and them bonding over being so devoted to their masters. They'd become really good friends.

I wonder how LaLa is doing?

Diablo would win. Sebas is a dragon, Diablo is a primordial demon given a name!

i'm also hyped for slime diaries

Cerulean Spectre

Diablo is almost like slimes version of Demiurge kinda

Cerulean Spectre

Ahh Slime Diaries, that's another thing we're going to have to check out! Yeah I'm picturing her trying to cook and just punching the whole thing into oblivion. Dang that is wild about not being able to sleep. I'd go crazy! I be loving that sleep! Also stoked for that festival!!

Sebas v Diablo? Diablo wins I think. Though I don't know much of the overlord lore. Diablo is kind of like Demiurge, he's definitely more of a floor guadian level of strength.

Again, this Season in general emphasizes development of Tempest, relationships, from the personal to the international, and also leadership (which also involves relationships). Poor Geld. He was going to give up and only use High Orcs, but his talk and drinking session got him to try again. The bar where Treyni was the bartender is a prominent trope in Slime Diaries. They have built or are building roads to Dwargon, Blumund, and Thalion. The roads aren’t all completed, but the emphasis is on the road to Thalion. On a map, Thalion is to the southeast. This also involves negotiations (more relationships), and a new race, the tengu, have been mentioned. Tengu are traditional Japanese monsters, usually related to crows, but there is great variation among how they are depicted. I find it odd that they call them both mild-mannered and warlike in the anime, that seems like a contradiction to me. Benimaru and Albis? Haha Milim and cooking food? Also haha. Rimuru has stated that he feels more comfortable in slime form than in human form. Usually at his house, especially when he’s “sleeping”, he’s in slime form. His house is tiny, but he has a big garden. I just think it’s a refuge for him, and where he “sleeps”. I put “sleep” in quotes because he really couldn’t sleep at the beginning. He just trained himself to, or forces himself to, and eventually he could enter a state that resembles sleep. The Eurazanian refugees and Clayman’s army prisoners both seem to be distributed to three places. Eurazanian refugees with homes to return to, did so. The next segment are going to build a new capital for Milim at the site of the former capital of Eurazania, with Rimuru’s help. Geld will primarily be directing things there, with the aid of some Eurazanians and some of the prisoners. The rest are going to be living in Tempest, contributing to work there. In Falmuth, one little tidbit is that the king chose Edward, his brother, as his heir, rather than his son (whom I believe is 10 years old). We see that is part of the plan leading to the civil war. The upcoming festival is an important part of the development of Tempest and its relationships with the world. Look forward to it. Despite all the words I dedicated to this post, there really isn’t much that happens. I think the important thing is to take in the ambiance. Right at the very beginning of the episode we see Rimuru’s tendency to delegate being pointed out, and then we have his underestimation of his impact become the impetus for a festival. It’s like Rimuru went (once again) from obliviousness to deliberate ostentation. Making the most of the situation he fell into.
