Also i think the reason they made this Don 3 is because SRK’s was Don 2, even though SRKs and Amithab Bachan’s weren’t a continuation. Honestly they could’ve done something different with the name Don 2 back then but i think now it’s too late and they just have to go with it 😂

2023-08-14 00:13:27 +0000 UTCPeople of my gen know srk as Don bc that’s who we saw growing up, the next gen will see Don as Ranveer and that would be the norm for them. I have faith in him as an actor and am keen to see how they mix up the story for this one!

Rest all of the characters are so problematic.. even the actors seem lost .. Btw Bulbul Jauhari.. what a name !! I wish she had more screen time and bigger role.. Cant binge watch this series.. it makes me nauseous.. 😞

2023-08-11 19:34:32 +0000 UTCI was so excited for S2 but it was a major disappointment...not so keen on a watchalong from OSR anymore, would suggest Korbin to check out a few reviews and maybe do a poll either here or YT to check if a decent number of people are interested. The entire season was like a public service announcement...they chose good themes but let down by the writing which was preachy with forced messaging....the English dialogues didn't work for some of the characters either with a stilted delivery that was jarring and this happened too often. Vijay Raaz and Mona Singh were the highlights ✨

Except of course if they could have excluded woke LGBQT+++ minus plus whatever 😂😂😂 and the drugs it’d have been 10/10 for me. Still I give it 9/10. I really hope if they make Season3 (really looking forward to this badly already), Arjun the gay character to start the season with disclaimer (Intro) that he doesn’t condone or wants to propagate this.

Jee le Zara- announced 2 years ago. Has not even gone on the floor yet Mirzpur season 3 - was supposed to release Jun 2023 .. not even a trailer out yet Made in Heaven- i dont even have the years we waited Archies - announced way too long ago.. and they keep teasing And Now Don 3 .. I love their work .. so have to live with it I guess 😂

The news about SRK not liking the idea for Don 3 that Farhan went to him with broke first in Sep last year and was then confirmed in May earlier this year that he decided to exit the franchise...looks like fans were in denial until the official announcement yesterday. I remember Farhan used to be asked about Don 3 in almost every interview for the last 10 years, so I can understand the frustration of fans that he took so long to come up with a story for Don 3 which SRK now wasn't excited by after being keen on it for so many years....guess it's going to take time for people to accept the fact that such a highly anticipated sequel is no longer happening but all the hate is uncalled for as it always is on social media. It's brave of Ranveer though to try to take forward the legacy of Big B and SRK with Don...he knows he has big shoes to fill and I am sure he will give it his all to not disappoint the audience.

I hope all this unnecessary hate fuels Ranveer to do better....don't get why people are always ready to thrash him...I am always rooting for Ranveer! ♥️ I personally want SRK to stop with the action movies too...we had Pathaan, now Jawan and next year the action-thriller with Sujoy Ghosh. He is almost 60 years old with a broken body, wish he takes it easy physically and chooses good scripts across other genres.

2023-08-10 01:25:53 +0000 UTCComing from a huge SRK fan, I can understand fans being upset that they won’t see SRK as Don anymore, especially after #Don3 being teased for over 10 years now.. but I don’t understand the trolling against Ranveer, saying he does not have the charisma, which I disagree with. Also, SRK was actually offered Don 3 by Farhan, and he REJECTED it. Does that mean Farhan should shelve the film? I think this could very well be our Bond and Ranveers a great choice. I have 2 concerns though. First, change the title immediately lol. you’re just making it worse by titling it Don 3, as it will constantly remind others that this was supposed to be a sequel to SRK’s Don 2. Also, I hope Ranveer brings his own twist and style to the Don character and doesn’t try to copy SRK. Part of the reason why SRK’s Don is well loved is because he brought his own style to it and didn’t try to copy Big B.
