Yes to Kshana Kshanam watchalong! It can be your first Telugu watchalong and so many reasons to watch this one...directed by RGV, starring Sri Devi, music by M.M.Keeravani (of RRR) and the movie is considered a cult classic now. It has one of my all-time favourite songs as well (sung by SPB & Chitra) - I couldn't find a reaction when I searched on Patreon/YT. 2023-10-05 17:30:33 +0000 UTCFor Sridevi, one suggestion is "Devaraagam" - a 1996 malayalam movie. The movie was not well-received, but her performance was praised. You may appreciate it more. The music was by the same composer as RRR. For Kamal, you have a lot of recommendations and wanted to explore others. But if you return to his filmography, I recommend "Uttama Villain" - 2015 Tamil. It's a slightly meta take, as he plays a superstar who's contemplating his stardom, relationships, and art living on after the artist. KB (the director of this reaction video) plays a role essentially as Kamal's mentor.

This song is a tribute by one legend of tamil cinema (Director KB) to two other legends - the composer MSV, and the lyricist Kannadasan. In brief: Sridevi is giving Kamal challenges by asking him to compose lines to her impromptu music. He impresses her, and at the same time uses the lines to express his love for her. The director says this was based on his experience with how the music director used to compose with the legendary tamil poet/lyricist Kannadasan and wanting to showcase their talent and their close bond. Kannadasan was well known for his command over language and extremely quick writing sessions, often writing lyrics for an entire movie album in a span of a few hours.

Thalaiva 170 is directed by TJ Gnanavel who directed Jai Bhim starring Suriya, which was a really great film btw. Definitely watch it. But yeah the cast for 170 looks amazinggg
