(Loved Welcome to Sajjanpur for Mr. Shyam Benegal apart from Zubeidaa. ) for Karishma , apart from this , Fiza & Dil Toh Pagal Hai , (Andaz apna apna, more of an ensemble though) & my personal fun movies like Haseena Maan Jyegi with Sanjay Dutt & Govinda & Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge

2023-10-06 10:18:22 +0000 UTCThere's another Mehendi song in this film that goes on every playlist of mine. Unfortunately, the song and most in this film are cut up as they are only plot extenders. The full song is just amazingly beautiful. For Karishma, this is the film to watch. For Shyam Benegal, you should watch is entire filmography, they are the not-so-talked about gems in hindi cinema. Sooraj Ka Saathva Ghoda is nice one.

Thereβs a bunch of watch-worthy films under his belt. Also, react to more songs from the movie. Each of them is an absolute gem on its own.

2023-10-05 05:12:03 +0000 UTCYes, you should react to Dheeme Dheeme...it's a lovely song and has a permanent place in my 90s playlist! π You should watch the movie too....like others have said, Karisma did a great job...Dil To Pagal Hai is another good performance from her...wouldn't recommend anything else of hers.

So Shyam Benegal is another director who did parallel art movies. This movie was a slight digress coz he casted a popular actor. And so glad he did. Karishma Kapoor was more known for her dance numbers than her acting. It was because of the kind of movies that were made in 90s .. very few good roles for the women.. and very few moments to shine !
