2023-10-26 03:13:28 +0000 UTCYeah, adding subs is not a big deal for these studios but they never do it although I think it helps immensely with the reach among non-Tamil speaking audiences who watch Tamil movies with subs and would be interested to get to know the artists' personalities off-screen.

I am expecting the same from Vijay after Venkat Prabhu movie 😇

The entire Sunil-Tamannah track didn't work for me at all while I enjoyed the rest of the movie a lot.

Also lokesh should write better climaxe, his showdowns are getting boring, it takes one out of the film." "In Vikram, the lengthy final fight was saved by the Rolex segment which is why entire film issues were forgotten by the time people left theatre. It absolutely scored in the 6 minutes of Rolex segment."

Found an interesting thread on X (@kichukii) talking about alternate routes the writers of the movie could have taken. See below: 1) Never reveal to us if Parthi was indeed Leo or not, leave it as cliffhanger. 2) When Harold at the end almost gave up & lost his marbles about whether it was Parthi or Leo & shouted to end it.......Parthi should have just said "Suspense odeyeh saavu" and bam headshot. Throwback to thuppakki + maintain suspense mentioned in point 1. 3) Elisa cud hav been a pious & devoted goodie little two shoes, & she cud have always been against her family's business & deeds & sins, esp her twin bro being involved in it, tat way when she is shot by Harold...she cud have told LEO that "It hurts when someone u love is murdered & taken away from you, right? everyone has someone that loves them... so stop murdering anyone, leave, go start a new life elsewhere." That cud have been far more convincing on why Leo exiled and started a new life. 4) Instead of Sanjay Dutt, they cud hav made Arjun as d guy who was into blackmagic & what not, obsessed with Power & growth, consumed by it. A sithappa trying to sacrifice niece for it is far more digestible & believable, also wud have given Arjun more presence in the film. 5) Kill Sanjay Dutt character in the flash back itself, so that wud have given room for FEUD in das family - Harold & LEO having power tussle, the whole gang split into two, then Arjun tries the narabali with Elyssa & all hell breaks loose. Sells the chaos more.
