2024-06-21 06:26:23 +0000 UTCPeople missed the symbolism in this movie. And thus, it flopped. Alia Bhatt is symbolic of India(Hinduism) and Varun is symbolic of Bengal before partition (Islam). They don't have a happy ever after cuz of the Bengal Partition.

But I watched it again recently and enjoyed it. Aira Gaira song with Kriti is my favorite after ghar more pardesiya
