India has censoring not just rating. They will not allow any explicit scenes even for A rating.

U is equivalent to G/PG, U/A is equivalent to PG-13, while 'A' is slightly broader which would be equivalent to Rated R or NC-17 in the US. I don't know if no one has told you this or if you think it isn't good enough but there is a film rating system here.
