Also I watched the American movie it was based on, Buster Keaton's Our Hospitality. I get frustrated sometime when people say that humour or sentiments etc...are not translatable for them when I am an American too and rarely have trouble understanding what they struggle with at times. It is more about their own personal expectations. likes and dislikes than being an American that makes it difficult for them with certain films.
