2024-09-02 10:49:49 +0000 UTCIt is amazing that they really enjoyed Kottukkaali a lot, but I believe that Rick and Korbin may not fully appreciate Vaazhai due to its deeply rooted storyline and the nuanced metaphors that convey the emotions in the film. This is understandable, as these elements may not resonate as strongly with those unfamiliar with the cultural context. They enjoyed Kottukaali because it was deliberately crafted for an international audience, whereas Vaazhai is more tailored for Tamil audience. Maari Selvaraj's first film, Pariyerum Perumal, could be a strong recommendation for them, though I remain somewhat cautious about whether they will fully connect with it. ... and they did not enjoy Karnan

People in villages apply this on their throat if they loose their voice by shouting, apparently according to director soori was involved in a communal riot that happened in their village a week back and that the reason for his hoarse voice. Boy oh boy i was waiting for this review. And you guy must really watch Vaazhai now and you will have second thoughts on Oscar submission. That’s the level of Tamil Cinema now.
