2025-01-28 08:05:21 +0000 UTCI wish the subtitles were better. They are giving an idea of what's happening in the scene but not really the depth and the actual feelings of the characters. E.g. The translation says HathiRam wants to go to Nagaland and "fix it", on the other hand the actual dialogue is him saying "I am unable to bear the weight of this lie. Let me go and unburden myself." There are so many such dialogues whose actually intention and depth has been negated throughout these episodes. Very very poor and basic translations.

There was lot symbolism in a lot of scenes for example when they showed Ansari's first day, he was settling in when the other staff were doing a morning pooja in the background. Also, him being gay and the need to hide it from even his closest peers etc.
