Watched it for the first time with you guys! 😊 saw a lot of memes and trolls for this movie in twitter but thought it’s a good attempt with a few manageable negatives. Spoilers— 1. They gave away a hint at the beginning that kunchacko maybe shady by showing that slap when the CCTV is installed. Without that slap, audiences may not have doubted him at all until late second half. It also helps, he rarely does shady roles and malayalees saw him as chocolate hero till recently. 2. Fafa’s role could’ve been done by anyone. He wasn’t needed for this role of a mediocre investigator. It was Meera, a psychologist who cracked the case 😂 3. Why would kunchacko install cctv when he is doing criminal stuff? Not clear if it was done to mislead people. By the way, the lead actress Jyotirmayi is the wife of the director Amal Neerad. She had taken a break from movies and that’s why you see a big gap in her credits. I would suggest to watch “Iyyobinte Pusthakam” as the next watch along - it’s the movie that really made us notice Fafa as this show stealer. Also one of the best shot movies in Malayalam despite it was done in 2014 (seems like long ago now 😂).

For most of us Malayalee audience, Kunchako Bobban is a sympathetic figure and plays leading men and protagonists in most films so, I took a while longer to the to the conclusion.
