I liked this movie much more this time than the first, maybe because of the watchalong. But, glad to see you got a lot of comedy which could have been easily lost in translation. The alcoholic friend, Rahul was the best friend in Arjun Reddy, which makes the references a bit more funnier. He was also NTR's friend who gets caught by Ram Charan and tortured in RRR. The jail scenes at the beginning are indeed a reference to an old Chiranjeevi movie The judge is a legendary Telugu comedian Brahmanandam whose mere presence makes audience laugh out

I realized that the subtitles were getting jumbled up every time they used a Hindi word and there were a lot of them in this film, the place these guys come from and Hyderabadis use a lot of Hindi in their speech. In fact, its now an evolved language called Deccani that is a combination of many languages, but in this situation its mostly telugu and urdu/hindi. Something in the subtitles seem to be autogenerated and its not able to recognize the hindi/urdu words. One of my favorite lines in the film is how they keep saying "my life has become a zindagi!' Life and zindagi means the same thing.
