2025-04-19 18:55:44 +0000 UTCSo, what I thought was that they probably paid an homage to the cult classic hindi movie Jewel Thief in 1967 starring Dev Anand (one of the great actors of that time), I guess you saw that entry in IMDB but yeah we never really thought about it like that, that it is a very lame name :D kind of also limits the thief's scope to only Jewels. I mean, hey look at those crores worth of gold bars, shame I am only a "Jewel Thief" (blowing raspberry)
