And that's a wrap on Nise! Interesting entry in the series with many layers of morality (some possibly unintentional). Nothing to much to say here as I haven't read the novel yet, coincidentally my copy arrives tomorrow. Maybe I'll finish reading by the time you get through the commissions!
I'm interested to see what you think of the next entry, Nekomonogatari Black. Its the ending of the confusingly named first season and after that leads into the even more confusingly named "Second Season". Have a good night!

YES! You got the hypocrisy in Kagenui, most people I've seen reacting to the series didn't get it.
Not only about forcing ideals, if you pay attention Kagenui and Ononoki are basically a mirror of Karen and Tsukihi: a pair of sisters with a hot headed martial artist with a strong sense of justice and of what is right who thinks they have to enforce their world view even if they need to use violence to do so; and an immortal fake human little sister that is just in for the ride, following every step of their strong-willed companion. Everything Yozuru says about Tsukihi and her impact on their family could also be applied to Ononoki and herself.
Also, if we follow the pattern of oddities being just physical representations of one's psychological problems (Hitagi not wanting to shoulder the bad emotions she felt towards her mom; Araragi's desire of not going back home being Hachikuji; Nadeko's hatred of her own body being the snake; Hanekawa's stress being the cat; Kanbaru's jealousy being the pawn; Karen not having a conviction of hers and having to find it on others being the bee sting; etc), then I've got a theory on the whole thing of the one affected by the Shidenotori being Araragi's mom. I like to think Tsukihi represents the way she found to cope with the stillbirth of one of her children. Having seen this happen to my mother and her spiritual journey and conversion to Spiritism because of it I think it's a good theory.
But no, Tsukihi doesn't know about it, she was born and raised as a human in a human family with no contact whatsoever with the supernatural, she just thinks that's the usual way humans heal.
Thank god the ecchi now will be toned down for the remainder of the series. Next up, a darker story in Nekomonogatari (Kuro)!
