In the LN series filo fights the queen and learn a lot of the queens moves and kept improving during the fight. She fared a lot better against her and was a lot more fierce. Second they didnβt mention it clearly here but if one hero dies the waves lvl of difficulty increases. Btw in the Light Novels, after Naofumi told Filo " To use your Head" she tryed to Headbutt Fitoria.

2021-05-15 14:34:57 +0000 UTCAs far as I remember, Filo never did manage to get a real hit in on Fitoria, it was mostly just an "all right, you seemed to have absorbed enough info, I'll let Melty go now." Speaking of, Filo's new move is something she was supposed to steal from Fitoria, alongside some other minor fighting techniques. She was also constantly making Melty's cage smaller throughout the fight, which was quite dangerous seeing as it cut her if she touched it. On a similar note, Naofumi quickly realized that Fitoria was trying to teach Filo how to fight in human form, and as far as I remember, he never tried to save Melty because of that. This is a very minor thing, but Filo sleeping in her human form is quite out of character, she really hates doing that, and only does so when she is forced to sleep inside ins and the like. This wasn't mentioned in the anime, but the four cardinal weapons are not "unique," but rather a new set is created every time new heroes are summoned (however, only the original wielders are supposed to be able to use the weapons). The coffin was supposed to contain the weapons of the previous heroes, but it was empty.
