---In the Light Novel, the scene where Linel tells Eugeo about the "special exception" Quinella made that allowed her and Fizel to become Integrity Knights was elaborated in more detail.
-After the resurrection research was abandoned they needed a new Sacred Task and chose to become Integrity Knights, which Quinella allowed if they killed two newbies. Surprisingly, they succeeded and inherited the "Synthesis Twenty-Eight" and "Twenty-Nine" titles from them.
---The mention of Kirito first becoming suspicious of Linel and Fizel because they did not close a door, which he learned from Selka to be custom for a nun-in-training, was omitted.

---In the Light Novel, the "Enhance Armament" Sacred Art is a fairly long ritual, but Eldrie was able to recite it in seconds.
-Because of this, the mention of higher Sacred Arts being harder to cast because they are composed of more words, increasing the chance to make a mistake while reciting them, was omitted.
-Because of this, Kirito's shock at Eldrie's casting speed was omitted.
---The scene where Eldrie revealed that he can increase the number of whips on his Frost Scale Whip to seven was omitted.
---The scene where Kirito throws a shard of the Eldrie's wine glass, which shattered when their Sacred Arts clashed, at the latter, which manages to grace his cheek, was omitted.
---The scene where Kirito stares over Eldrie's shoulder as he charges at him, causing the latter to assume Eugeo was attempting to ambush him from behind, was omitted.

Man the animation is getting really good. It was already good in season 1 and season 2 but Alicization just looks and feels cleaner.
I think all episodes in this batch were quite good. I don't know if people generally dislike exposition episodes but I really liked that episode because it gave the rules of this world some grounding and for me enhanced the beliveability and immersion.
I'm also glad that in the library they didn't go for a kiss and instead went for a hug, that was a good choice.
The new OP has some really cool bits in it, but I think song-wise at least I like the first OP more. But the second OP makes it up with its animation.
2 more months/recording sessions until you're done with Alicization season 1! Story is starting to ramp up!
