Yes, Koyomi has cameos in most openings, sometimes even just his ahoge. I see some significance in that, but my thought process makes more sense after you've seen all of them. Also, I really like this episode gives us more background on the night Nadeko spent in Araragi's house after he found her in the sandbox. And just as a piece of trivia, since they are talking about rebuilding the shrine, but the anime doesn't make it clear and makes it seem to us that Nadeko is the one who rebuilt the place during Second Season. That was actually a team of workers paid by the town hall. After she got enshrined, it's like the faith resurged and one of the indirect consequences this had was this little hint on people minds on remembering the place and thinking of its cultural importance. The refurbishment was done very quickly too!
