I love this op, just so moody and calming and all the imagery of Hitagi we see is as if we were looking thorugh the eyes of Araragi himself. A minute and a half of wholesomeness.
The episode itself also is made to parallel the one near the end of Bake. We end just how we begun:
-A date episode between Hitagi and Koyomi;
-Deeply related to space and the stars;
-Their conversation in a car, even bringing up Hanekawa and talking about her;
-Senjou even references the weird way she tried rephrasing herself multiple times when asking Araragi out the first time;
-And, of course, those episodes coming right before the big finale, almost like a quick break to let everything sink in and also give us an insight on their relationship. A reminder of Koyomi's growth.
