2022-06-11 10:40:10 +0000 UTCGreat start, also regarding the monogatari-esque vibes it should feel very "Shafty" since the main director (Shinichi Omata) was from Studio Shaft. Love the choice of subs as well, there are a few hiccups with these subs later on but the pros outweigh the cons (the pros being the actual graphic design instead of just pure subs). Also regarding the title of the show, it's localized as "Love is War", but the actual title is "Kaguya Wants to be Confessed to". I feel like the actual translated title is much more fitting for the entire series but I'll elaborate on it as you go along.

Yeah this show definitely doesn't need as much analyzing as Monogatari does but it doesn't hurt to analyze stuff, right? I don't know if anime has molded/warped me or what but the moment Kaguya looked Fujiwara with pure spite and called her livestock, I instantly "fell in love" with her character xD.
