There were plenty of stuff that was cut from these few episodes, the whole Dakira situation that Mathias explained being one of them. A lot of it was stuff that further developed most of the characters. Renly's part of the story got the main points covered in the anime, but the novels dwell deeper into him as a character. At the age of 14 he both won the Four-Empire Unification Tournament and became a knight. An extremely young age to be winning something like that. Kirito and Eugeo were 19 and still didn't have the chance to even fight in it (Their mentors being a little older than them and not having the chance either). He was hailed as a genius with the sword. However, although he had skill with the sword, Renly always felt he had something missing, preventing him from using perfect weapon control. Around that time, Alice became a Knight, reaching the top ranks very quickly. That lead to Renly being seen, at least in his eyes, as someone who wasn't needed. A parallel here that isn't really mentioned in the anime is that Renly and his best friend, the one he accidentally killed, have similarities to Kirito and Eugeo. Actually, Tiese, upon first seeing his face, gasped and looked away because of how much he reminded her of Eugeo (Something to keep a note of). And, oddly enough, it's the memory of Eugeo inside the blade that is what bring Renly to his full power. That whole scene was also longer in the novels. The first goblin that appears who tries to kill Tiese isn't killed by Renly but by Linel. I won't make this too long but long story short, Linel and Fizel wanted to figure out what strength was based on what Kirito and Eugeo thought them when they first met. That's why they are fighting in the war. The girls mention some of that to Renly who begins to ponder that same thought which is what leads him to reach the conclusion that he does. It's a whole dynamic there that the anime basically cut out, but to get everything here would require a much longer comment. There's a whole lot more, but that's just a bit of info that was cut. There's also mre information about the goblins, giants, and all of that. Anyway, love the reactions. I'm sure you'll like the pugilist. They have quite the characterization (Some of which is also cut from the anime).

Yep, the fact they cut all of that out makes sense pacing wise for the anime but it kind of ruins the whole character.

For Episode 30: They had Background Informations about Dakira in the Light Novels. She is also a Integrity Knight ( Dakira Synthesis Twenty-two). The other 3 Girls who are with Fanatio are also Integrity Knights, but since they are not so powerful like Fanatio, Deusolbert etc. Fanatio put those 4 under her Wing. ( The other 3 are Jeis Synthesis Twenty-three, Giro Synthesis Twenty-four and Hobren Synthesis Twenty-six) That means that not all of the Integrity Knights are powerful. Even the 2 Little Girls. They are Integrity Knight Apprentices, but that only happend because they killed the former Integrity Knights Nr. 28 and 29. Dakiras Background: Dakira, a girl blessed with the strength of a man, was born and raised in a small village in the Southacroith South Empire in a poor and nameless family of fishermen. However, at the age of sixteen, Dakira fell in love with another girl, who was one year older than her. She did not have the courage to confess her feelings to her beloved and instead sought penance from Stacia in an empty church altar at night. Unbeknownst to her, however, the altar was connected to the Central Cathedral's automated elders mechanism, thus Dakira was detected to have committed a taboo and brought to the Central Cathedral, where she was turned into an Integrity Knight. As an Integrity Knight, Dakira was judged to be at risk if assigned to the front lines due to lacking power. Thus, Dakira was one of the knights picked by Fanatio to form the «Four Oscillation Blades» and were taught combination techniques to increase their survivability. Fanatio somewhat reminded Dakira of the girl that she had been in love with, and Dakira felt deep respect for her, thus Fanatio was the sole person that Dakira had devoted herself to. Also Dakiras Last Words in the Light Novel were apparently those: “Fanatio… sama… I shall… forever… adore… you……”
