Among things I find unnerving, speaking/performing in front of a crowd is way up there (seriously, I once ran off stage and started cried for an hour because five demented pensioners at a retirement home, most of which weren't even looking at me was too much pressure), so seeing Mino unable to speak up and having people laugh at her was heartbreaking. This episode also sets up one of my favorite character interactions (Miko and Ishigami) so that's fun though!
