Akis Devil contracts are different actually. normally you give something in return for the Devils power, Himeno gave her eye to use the hand of the Ghost Devil permanently, Aki gives parts of him to the Fox Devil only when he calls it, and gives his life span after the Curse Devil activates. The Fox Devil just decides not to show up when he calls her. Also if you really enjoy Chainsaw Man I recommend you read it instead of waiting for season 2, The anime will (if even) return most likely around 2025 if not later.
