Looks to me like they built two different houses and just plopped one on top of the other.

2022-10-28 02:56:45 +0000 UTCThose dining room chairs are LIFE but I'm pretty certain that the chairs are 40s/50s with a 1970s reupholster job. I see this often enough and I think it has to do with inheriting a set from parents and the chairs needing the work because of normal use wear/tear
