Weekly progress log #4

Hey everyone,
despite the nearly three-week delay, I will be resuming weekly progress logs from this week forward. Because of exams at school, January has been packed with action much like December and it's going to be that way for another two weeks. It does make writing a bit of a challenge unfortunately - it's difficult to rewire myself into "Elvensang" mode for a quick day or two and then slink back into studying for a few days, and just keep going back and forth like that.
Fortunately enough, drawing has become a relaxing hobby for me, and so I've still done a fair amount of work in the art side of things. If there is one goal I have with Elvensang, it is to continuously improve as an artist, and I think I keep making progress in that regard. Looking at some of the artwork I've made, I can with some small pride say that it looks fairly good - and not just "good enough", which had been my impression of even the best pieces in the past episodes. Nevertheless, there is still a long way to go - and I hope to surpass myself in every new episode.
And my artistic improvement brings me to something slightly related - sex scenes. Considering we have gone through three episodes of Elvensang without any real "adult content", the slow-burn has been attributed to my desire to build up the story, the characters and their relationships - and while that is true, the other reason behind the absence of sex scene was my artistic inexperience. I was not confident I could do the adult content justice, but I think I am reaching that point now. At least I hope so, because there will be a few scenes that I would describe as "mildly sexual" in the next episode. But you'll see for yourself when the time comes!
