Weekly progress log #8

Hey everyone,

I don't have much to talk about this progress log, so I will talk about a bit of everything while hopefully keeping it somewhat shorter this time around.

I'm still writing the dialogue for the next episode and I expect that I will be stuck doing that for quite a while. It has been taking more time and effort than in the past episodes, but there is no other option than to push through it and get my headspace back into the story. When the episode comes out, we can either look back to this post and realize that my concerns were unfounded or not but either way, maintaining the quality of the writing is always my top priority.

I've done a bit of drawing as well, mostly for practice to get better at drawing faces. I am reaching a point where I am confident that I can draw a pretty face (most of the time, anyway) - but being able to draw that same face consistently has become a source of some frustration. On top of doing some studies, I've started working on a character turnaround sheet for Sunny and my struggle with it has only reaffirmed my inability to consistently draw the same face. It's probably something that will come with time and practice, but moving into the future I want Sunny's appearance to more or less reflect what you see in the thumbnail above. Whether I will be able to accomplish that is another matter entirely, but the finished turnaround sheet should serve as a definitive reference for her appearance.
