✨ MERCH DESIGN COMPETITION STARTS NOW ✨

Welcome to our first official Patreon Competition! 🥳Starting today and ending June 30th! 

There has been a change in plans for the competition we were discussing. Originally we were going to be creating designs for new Neko Neko Post postcards, but recently I've been working on creating a website for categorising my YouTube videos, and I'm considering creating some cute items to have for sale on there as well. I'm thinking hoodies, t-shirts, totebags, mugs, stickers, beanies etc.

I will be hiring an artist to create the artwork for the designs, my top pick is the artist who drew the artwork featured in this post: @kapebeansies on Twitter! Her style is absolutely perfect for what I have been imagining, so if she would be up for working on this project I would LOVE to work with her! 🙏💕

✨Now for the Competition Details ✨

What I'm looking for is ideas for the designs! All designs need to incorporate Maro and/or something Japanese and/or something tea-related. Basically anything that reminds you of me! No artwork skill required whatsoever. For example: "Maro eating a taiyaki." "Maro kicking his giant fish toy." "Teacup with the phrase ... on it." "Torii gate with the japanese words ... under it."

This is purely an idea brainstorming competition (and basically just a way to offer prizes while still following Patreon's rules) 

You are welcome to sketch out your idea if you feel like it, or purely just explain your idea in text - either is fine. I'm really just curious about the kind of designs you guys would like to see in my shop! We will all be voting on the ideas at the end of the competition to choose the winners.

HOW TO ENTER: 

1. Come up with an idea for a design to be used on my merch that incorporates at least one of these things: Maro, Japan, tea. 

2. Sketch out your idea and/or explain it in writing.

3. Send your sketch and/or explanation to: sharlapatreon@gmail.com (Up to 5 design ideas per person!)

The contest ends on June 30th! I'll gather my favourite ideas and we can all vote on the winners together! I won't decide how many winners there will be until the end, but there will be at least two.

I'm preparing prizes for the winners, so far I've got some Animal Crossing goodies, pokémon toys, stickers, stationery, japanese snacks, gacha toys - I'll be adding to this as I come across anything that I think is nice to include :)
