Ohisashiburi desu👋🏻 (Long time no see)

Hey guys,

Wanted to pop in and update you on what I’ve been up to recently as I haven’t had much chance to update Patreon this month!

There’s been a lot going on at once and tbh I’m very overwhelmed with life at the moment o_o

- House (apartment) hunting in Tokyo has begun.

In case you missed us mentioning it in videos, Chris and I are leaving Sendai and moving to Tokyo! Not really because we want to, but more because it will be a lot more convenient work-wise and save us a lot of time (that we now use commuting back and forth to Tokyo.)

We need to move out of our current apartment before the contract renews so that gives us about a month to find a place in Tokyo. With Chris on another cycle around Japan with Connor, apartment hunting duties have been left to me😅 As much as I love apartment hunting, it’s a bit of a nightmare as a foreigner, and even more so as a foreigner with two cats. Welp😂

Wish me luck! If I can I’ll film some of the places I go to look at, could be fun.

- Everyone and their Mom is in Japan at the moment.

With the borders open now (woohoo🥳) every single person I know is currently visiting Japan for sakura season. Which is amazing because I haven’t seen many of them in years, but it’s been pretty tough making time to see everyone with my already ridiculous schedule and I feel so bad😅 But my friend Candie was super sweet and offered to come up to Sendai to visit so I got to show her around for the day! (She’s an amazing artist btw, check her out on insta: @candiebolton) ❤️

Today I made a pit-stop in Tokyo to visit with Chiaki while she’s in Japan! We didn’t get any photos together because our sakura picnic was rudely interrupted by a torrential rainfall before we even got started😂👌🏻

- And nowwww I’m off to Hiroshima to say goodbye to my best friend Mark😭

Mark is moving back to America at the end of March so we’ve planned one final road trip together before he goes😢 I’m really excited for him, I think he’ll do well back in America and the change of pace after living in Japan so long will probably be nice. But on the other hand super bummed that he’s leaving!! I’ve put together a fun itinerary driving around Southern Japan for a week, but the weather is looking a bit sketch😅 Crossing all my fingers we get a couple sunny days at least! 🤞🏻

- And finally my thyroid is being a complete asshole 😬

I haven’t been prescribed a suitable medicine for my lack of half a thyroid, and as a result my thyroid hormones are wildly out of normal levels. It’s affecting other areas of my health now so I’ve been feeling like absolute crap. As someone who is always running around doing lots of things this is so frustrating haha. After the trip with Mark I’ve got an appointment with my 4th? 5th? endocrinologist and I really hope he doesn’t suck like the rest of them, I’m exhausted.

So apologies for being MIA guys. I also lost 2 family members this week so it’s just been a crap month all around. Thank you for your support even though I’ve been lacking in content recently😭❤️

I’m working on a fun video where I go camping with Chris’ sister and her husband, we had a great time so should be a good vlog! 🥰 That’ll be out early next week - I’ll see you then!
