While many who feel the touch of the Fappening experience sudden and immense changes to their physicality that can significantly alter their outward sexual appearance, The King of Beasts, Byakko, was surprised that a diefic being of his calibur would experience such a profound shift as well.
As ruler of the Western skies, Byakko once protected the land from the west, alongside the other three Shijin, but now that the pact has been broken, he joins in their rampage against the mortals whose folly allowed this calamity to befall the land. Like the other Shijin, Byakko’s claims to divinity are not absolute. While the Shijin are certainly possessed of substantial power that renders them above the reach of most mortals, they do not possess the spark of true godhood. They act as Kami, ‘gods’ of the land, whose immense size and power make them effectively godlike from the perspective of mortals.
Though he is not as closely associated with the element of fire as Suzaku, the white tiger nevertheless burns with righteous determination to cleanse the land of the filth and squalor that have overtaken it, possessed of a single-minded desire to mete out justice for the wrongs he perceives mortals having comitted against the very land itself.
