The destabilization of the Chancel has not only allowed creatures to seep in from Ahe'gauu's realm of limitless pleasure, but has also weakened the bountries between other planes the overlap with this location as well, including the endless expanse of cum known as the Infinite Gyre.
While several varieties of cum elementals have found their way into the cities, tainted and corrupted by the influence of the old cum, numerous Hunters have reported encounters with holy beasts aspected to the Gyre that have somehow resisted the Chancel's insidious taint. These Spunk-Caller Snails are divine conduits to the Infinite Gyre, able to draw upon their link with that distant realm to summon guardians to defend them when they feel threatened.
Though the Spunk-Caller Snails themselves are not particularly imposing, typically hiding away or taunting foes with enticing wiggling motions, their unique abilities allow them to conjure forth creatures far larger and more intimidating than themselves. Indeed, the limits of their summoning are not fully known, but cultists of the Infinite Gyre purport that the endless expanse collects all seed spilled throughout the multiverse, storing it as an eternal record of the creatures who supplied it, making the place quite an attractive afterlife for those cum-obssessed faithful.
