I feel like you could've mentioned one more thing about ArtStation: even before the AI scandal, the site's community was basically dead. Nobody was interacting with other people. It was very rare to find a comment on any submission. Though designed with some social media aspects in mind, the userbase just never used them. ArtStation is to be considered a portfolio site, not an art community.
