2022-08-02 00:43:36 +0000 UTCThe faces across this whole page are so delightful, I LOVE the journey with them both. CT going from flat to angry to grouchy to "heh" is fantastic, and I love that Wash has his own little trip between incredulous to scowly. The dialogue here is really good -- CT gets a nice rant in, but it doesn't leave us dry for the back and forth, either. Their friendship still shines in the way that Wash is almost hurt that she never told him, and his childish response that he would have done SOMETHING without having anything he can actually detail as what he would have done. It's very on point for what two childhood friends would say to each other. I also like that this whole convo is a detour to what started it. You do a fawkin' great job with the visual aspect and the flow of things so much so that we don't even feel like we were on a side-trip, it all moves along as one steady ride.
