I hate to be the bad guy to Sophi, but wanting things to be the same after so much has changed for the other party isn't going to happen, I understand she has feelings for him but she knows that erik is happy at least for now so for her it would be better for her be happy for him instead of sulking about what wasn't a thing. Erik saw her as family the thought of dating her probably never crossed his mind and if it did he probably felt would be too awkward to ask her because she never showed romantic interest
