Amy's 3D head progress

I haven't yet tried to do rotoscopy over it, but i'm getting the feeling this is the closest i can get (while not causing serious structural silliness in her anatomy) to my handrawn style of Amy.

Those eyes are proper eyeballs by the way... if anybody is interested :D.. Amy Rose anatomically possible in real life confirmed. Sort of.

I dropped 3D way before i started my Patreon campaign, with a working-rig not necessarily -- strong euphemism here -- built for such tasks. In fact i'm still using that today. Be very vocal about it guys, would you like me to take more and more the 3D route, or stay on the previously planned hybrid way with the outlines drawn onto 3D?

Don't forget to accompany that strong vocality towards full-on 3D with a pledge if you are new around :P

Oh hi there, sorry i don't get notification of these and i just spotted your comment. That's the whole point of all this modelling work, to more or less be able to present any future work of mine animated. Even if only in the form of second long breathing in&out idle animated stills sometimes. Sorry 3d has become this strong around here, but i just got drunk with what i am able to do now that i've switched to Blender from 3DSMax. In a personal message let me know which forgotten sketch you really wanna see finished and i'll do it just for you! ;)

"While I definitely find your 3d modelling work interesting, and certainly wouldn't object to seeing more, I find your drawn art to be more attractive. However, the models look properly solid (and soft where it matters) while minding the stylistic origins of the artstyle as a whole, borrowing from cartooning, instead of strictly modelling. 3d scenes would definitely be useful when setting the frame, but without a bigger project like animation or a game they're only renders in the end. And I find your capabilities with hand drawn art to be well beyond any basic rendering. On a separate note, I was curious if any of the sketches that didn't win might find their way to completion in the future or perhaps as 3d work"
