Adjusted Damage for Moonbeam-Style Spells

This chart shows proposed adjusted damage values for spells that use the Moonbeam mechanic. The adjusted damage factors in the spell forcing a save when it is cast or moved onto a creature's space. The proposed damage numbers are provided for no saving throw (automatic damage), half damage on a successful save, and zero damage on a save.

The numbers in red are the modes that I feel are the best narrative fit for the spell. You can see some of my philosophies at work here. The physical barriers and forbiddance should not permit a save. Sleet Storm should deal some damage, but it should totally miss on a save, because it's such a large area. Evard's doesn't deal damage on a save because if it didn't grab you, how did it crush you? Stuff that acts on your CON save should generally allow you to resist for half. Just my thoughts.
