I really wonder what Harry would see if he looked in the Mirror of Erised now compared to back then. I think subconsciously he now knows what he wants. He wants to tear down the world order and the injustice he sees whether it is blood supremacy idiocy or it is the statute of secrecy The issue with asking Voldemort for his one favor is what can he get uniquely from Voldemort that Grindlewald would not be willing to give him anyways. He already empathizes heavily with Grindlewald, has his trust, and is not asked to be subservient to him, merely to consider his vision and principles Voldemort on the other hand appears to be more than just an extension of Grindlewald's will, as he clearly doesn't mind spilling magical blood if he must, whereas Grindlewald explicitly focused on the muggles as much as possible I really think Harry should be asking for one thing and one thing only from Voldemort. Freedom from his schemes. Harry's biggest issue is he is in the orbit of giants and constantly getting tugged into their schemes, whether Grindlewald, Dumbledore, or Voldemort. He truly cannot form his own thoughts and identity so long as these giants keep dragging his life around into chaos. Unfortunately this would make for a boring story and no way Albus/Gellert stop bugging Harry so it wouldn't change much ultimately. Maybe the most valuable thing Harry can ask for is to be trained to reach his true potential. In this way Voldemort sees Harry's full capabilities and Harry gets more insight into just how these wizards became the titans they are. I personally am really just waiting for the inevitable conflict between Harry and Daphne. It's so interesting how they can have such polar opposite roles in different stories, ie AoC they're best friends and PoP they are equivalent of fierce enemies. I wonder if Daphne hasn't inadvertently created a self fulfilling prophecy by treating Harry as so blatant an enemy that now he truly is her enemy and would consider using Tracy and Blaise against her if necessary for revenge (given the prevailing theme is Harry doesn't feel emotions of remorse when he lets his instincts take over and does things he believes necessary)

Harry doesn't want to be a position of prestige, he can earn that with his abilities, he's already at the point as someone with two years of schooling where he could probably pass his OWLs based on his progression earlier and probably in a year or two be on track to be one of the best duelists if we go off of Cassie being best duelist in Hogwarts (sans professors) as a fourth year and on track to be one of the best in England

I mean mastering mind arts would be beneficial especially when dealing with the likes of Tom, but he could have easily asked of that from Grindewald as well. Curious to see how Grindewald might or will react to finding out Harry might potentially be working or trained under Tom or if Harry will pass that on to him at all given how he has become a tutor of sorts to Harry. While Grindewald might be viewed by some as a villain I have a different view and while the vision he shared with Harry was a bit brutal, the execution of Wylla, that is the brutal truth of how most muggles might react to magical folk. People often do fear most what they do not understand, I never have and wont, training and experience in life and military took care of most fear but others do and will. Not every muggle family would be as understanding of their child having magic and all like Hermione's or Lily Evans were some might act like the Dursleys did or like Grindewald's mum did. But yet again Harry is for the most part weighing his options. The mind arts being taught to him by Tom could be bad because would involve sharing thoughts and memories with him in lessons, possibility of him establishing some kind of connection to link minds in their training too which could have bad consequences. Harry is right and smart though to try to advance further to potentially find a way out of all this if the time comes to do so. Whether or not he will be able to find a way out of all this though.....well that's to be determined the further he wades into these waters the harder it will be to get out if he so chooses at a later time.

TheSerpent

Mastering occulmency would be a wasted ask, mastering magic and a place at Voldemort right hand would be much better
