Chapter 205: All Are Equal In His Eyes

Sorry for having to take a few days off of writing. Seasonal sinuses and all of that nastiness has been hitting me hard the last few days. Finally managed to clear my head enough to get this written today...

Also, thanks to Bob Gibbs, Anthony, Aaron Canning, and Duncan Bauer for joining the Patreon and showing their support while I was sneezing my brains out!

Chapter 205: All Are Equal In His Eyes

Comments

I would have to remember to bring popcorn to watch those fireworks. Guess we will have to wait and see what comes next.

Oh, always. But at the same time, like the queen said, the ninjas are off-limits. If there was anything that actually threatened their existence, Terra has basically promised a smiting.

That's only going to make it worse when some Nobel decides to take matters into their own hands by sending an army to subjugate the Ninja Village because there is always one person with more ambition than sense.

In the noble's defense, the ninjas really AREN'T part of them... at first, they didn't even have the same language, only learning the main beastkin language after they started sending spies out into the outside world. They've never really been a part of beastkin society, from the very beginning. And in recent years in the world, their actions have grown bolder and bolder. The queens know the truth of the matter, but the information wasn't widely spread.

I forgot to mention this but their is something about what the Nobel said. I know that the Beastkin aren't as unified as they once were but to claim that the inheritance of the Ninja Village aren't one of them seem harsh just because they behaved arrogantly. Especially since he backed off right after he was challenged to whether he would do something about it knowing they wouldn't stand a chance. So were will this lead? Eventually someone is going to start something with the Ninja and then where will that lead but an unnecessary lose of life.

It probably won't go into too much depth with that little tidbit. Just another one of the countless stories within the world xD

They'll each get their moment in the spotlight, just like Tsubaki did(or even the halfling when her martial spirit was discovered). Tsubaki is just the most proactive of the three

Does this mean we will get a moment to see what the Keeper Representatives who are staying at the Sky Citadel are up to? Because with Tsubaki being in this chapter I can't help but wonder.

Intrigued. I want to know what's going on with the soul of the Beastkin Queen.

Remember, even though the main story is about Dale, everyone in the world has their own story to tell :)

Oh your right my bad, but still the fact that her spirit is missing is concerning. Also, I can't help but find it interesting that while the Humans think the other races are Barbarians the Beastkin think the Humans are savages. Hopefully they can bridge the gap and come to an understanding of one another.

No, no, the two are completely unrelated events. Remember that the queen said her mother's spirit had already been missing for over a year. Dale hasn't fast forwarded since then, and he had specifically chosen an area of the Underworld where there were no spirits to prevent anything like that.

Ok the news about the Queen's spirit being lost worries me. Please tell me Dale didn't just cause another incident when he was absorbing spirit energy in the previous chapter. I know I shouldn't assume this but it has happened before when he acted without thinking which would be bad if he absorbed the soul of the Beastkin Queen by accident because he didn't check if anyone was around him at the time.
