The Road to Hell Chapter 19

I should be wrapping up my first revision pass today, so I’m feeling pretty good about that. This chapter is posted in its revised version, though I was looking primarily at content and have not yet done line edits, so I may have inadvertently created a couple typos.
Chapter 20 will be out on Sunday.

A good chapter in how it is strucktured and concerning the lenght of it. I have to say that I really liked the first few chapters, but it has grown a bit tedious plot-wise (at least in my humble opinion). It really just boils down to the fact that Harry is way too passive in comparison to either the original book Harry where he was more prone to outbursts and didn't have his emotions under control, or the Harry you have portrayed in your other works - where his emotions are controlled but not to an extent of passivity. His passivity, though understandable, is currently the main drawback of the story as Riddle seems to be more proactive and it is partially infuriating to see Harry getting worked up over what he perceives and the resulting inactivity to counter. I see that he is pondering the issue more in this chapter and it might well be the turning point, but it feels a little drawn out. It is not the lack of "action", as such, but more the lack of consequence that is grating. Something has to give eventually and in this case - either Harrys' "patience" to wait and see or Riddles' obsessive compulsion to retreive what he perceives as his.
